The Old Byre is a charming detached cottage next to a farmhouse on the edge of Dartmoor near Dousland. The cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom with bathroom. On the ground floor are a sitting room with wood burning stove and sliding doors to a patio and a kitchen with dining area, plus WC. Outside is a patio with furniture and barbecue and shared gardens with wildlife pond and boules pitch. Less than a mile from the village pub in Dousland and ten miles from Plymouth, The Old Byre is an excellent base for touring Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall.
